I've Been Adopted!

Lucy's (aka Fionna) New Home!

My name is Fionna. I am a Lab/German Shorthair mix. They say I am very sleek and beautiful. I must say I do have a very shiney coat. My foster family is great, but I really want to find a permanent home. I like having another dog to play and it is okay if I'm not the boss. They call it submissive...I call it easy to get along with. Cats are okay too. I ignore the ones here for the most part, as they aren't real fond of me. I love to cuddle! I'm a real lover and a "people doggie". Even though I am only 3 months old, I am starting to understand this whole housetraining thing....if I stand by the door then I can go outside for potty without getting yelled at, they even say good girl. I heard my foster mommy say it will only take a couple weeks and I should be housetrained except maybe an occasional oops. I know sit and do pretty good with come. They say I am ready for puppy training and shoud do real well because I learn fast and am very eager to please. I just like the treats!!!
If you're interested in adopting me please call my foster parents at (269) 383-8334 or email them at:

Update: Lucy is probably the luckiest puppy I know. She found a home with 20 wonderful acres to roam and two doggie siblings to play with day and night. Lucy loves to run and play so she couldn't have found a better situation. I hear she has taken over the spot at the end of the bed and booted her doggie buddy out. She has really bonded with her new daddy and goes to bed every night when he does. Her new parents help out with foster kids and Lucy just loves them. They enjoy her to and it is a nice break from what is going on in their lives. Kudos to her family for being so caring and loving to less fortunate 2 legged and 4 legged kids! Lucy is supposed to visit the store soon and I can't wait to see her. She was such a gentle and loving puppy.
