We’ve
Been Adopted!
These little guys (and gal) were pistols.
Very spunky and playful. The boys definitely had hearts of a lion and
didn't take any grief from Ruby, our dog who usually has to be boss! They
were prepared to teach Ruby a lesson or two and remarkably she took it laying
down (literally). She really liked the little guys. They were sweet
and cuddly with foster mom, who one night actually had to lay down and sleep by
the kennel for a while...it was that or not get any sleep and I was dog tired
(pun intended) even if they weren't.
Goliath
filled a void at the home of his new family who had lost their dog of 15
years. He is one lucky dog... the day of his adoption he was headed to
the lake for the week-end and he has two human sisters to romp and play with
in
the water and woods....now for a dog that is nirvana. The family has since
checked in and everything is going
great. We hope to see him soon.

Kyla (now Tiva) went to a home with two nice young ladies and their other "baby" Kenzie a 3 year old mix breed rescue. The two dogs are playing very nicely together and all is well in her new home.
Sampson was another puppy that Ruby, our dog, really took to. She let him torment her with nary a correction which is unusual. Ruby gives tough love a whole new meaning sometimes....every toy is hers, games are fine as long as it is her game (chase - and she is not the chaser), and all puppies are welcome once we establish who is boss....that is until Sampson. He was pretty feisty and she took it laying down, literally. He now has a new home where I am sure he has his own toys.
Update: Sampson
went to a home in Vicksburg where he has two acres at the end of a cul
de sac to rule. He is learning to behave properly with his new two
legged siblings; a little girl 3 years old and her older brother. He
is working on playing "nice" with the toddler. This is
the family’s first dog.
