Adopted on 5/13/04!

Daisy's New Home                     Ace's New Home

Chloe (Adopted 5/13/04)              Ace (Adopted 5/17/04)

Our names are Cloey and Ace.  We are 7-week-old sister and brother, rottweiler/shepherd mix and we’re absolutely adorable, as you can see by our photo’s above.  Our foster parents would be so happy if we could find a home together as we just love to play and wrestle with each other.  However, we can be adopted seperately.  They think that we will grow up to be about 50-60lbs (Cloey) and 60-70lbs (Ace).  Cloey is slightly smaller than her brother Ace.  We love people and other pets (as you can see here, we are playing frisbee tag with Ruby, our foster sister).  We are being crate trained right now.  There are cats here too, but they don’t play with us much, even though we try.  If you’re interested in adopting us, please contact Bark’s 5th Avenue at (269) 383-8334 or email them at barks5thave@charter.net

Update: When Nicole and Anthony visited our store and saw Chloe they fell in love, but the timing was less then perfect because they had several out of town plans for the next month. However, a day later we got a call. They just didn’t want to pass this sweet little girl up. We agreed to hold her for the week-end as they were going to be gone. When they returned, they came to the store with Lily, their dog; also a rescue to make sure the two would hit it off. Lily is a Shepard mix that is a little over a year old. Even with a 40 lb size difference the two hit it off immediately and by the time they were ready to leave they were playing chase in Bark’s like they knew each other forever. It was so sweet. We just knew we found Chloe a great home. We have been keeping track of her, now Daisy, and she has settled in fantastically. The two dogs play together wonderfully and little Daisy is a happy girl….what a lucky dog to find a good home. The puppies from this litter were all very sweet, calm and loving which made them hard to part with so knowing each is in a good home is a real reward for us as foster parents.

Update: Ace found a home with a young couple who hope to start a family in the future. He is so gentle and calm that he will be a perfect dog for their situation. His new family is very active and Ace has been attending baseball games. He off course attracts a lot of attention, which is just fine by Ace. He is a real lover! His new family is very proud because they get a lot of compliments on what a good dog he is. We think Ace hit a home run when he found his new home. It seems he is, also, a laugh a minute with his puppy antic (better than TV reruns, ha, ha). The white tip on his tail has caught his attention and he has taken to chasing it. He is already doing very well on potty training at just 9 weeks old. We expect many successes on his horizon, and can’t wait until he visits the store next. This puppy really tugged on our heart strings while we had him and parting really was sweet sorrow.
